Biography:

Amanda Leigh Lichtenstein is a published poet, writer, and educator from Chicago, Ilinois, in the United States. After 15 years in the fields of arts, education, culture and youth development, she currently serves as the resident director of the Swahili Overseas Flagship Centre at the State University of Zanzibar with American Councils for International Education in Stone Town, Zanzibar.
