Worldwide artists, with healthy representation from Tanzania, are producing a new track and music video to increase awareness of issues of maternal health.
A three-day music production workshop took place in Dar Es Salaam in the run-up to the Sauti za Busara festival in Zanzibar so that artists such as Grammy-winning singer Maya Azucena and New York’s MC Okai as well as Tanzanian stars Lady Jay Dee, Mzungu Kichaa, Mrisho Mpoto, FidQ, Sauda, Mama C and others could collaborate on the tune.
