Coffee and Cloves in Paradise

You could be the lucky pair who win a special Coffee and Cloves break on the tropical spice island of Unguja on the Zanzibar archipelago.

Prizewinners will enjoy two nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation at the cosy and chic town-centre Stone Town Cafe B&B; barista training with Tanzanian Barista Champion Asmah Juma at Zanzibar Coffee House, as well as a cappuccino break; and aromatic, spicy Pemban clove and rosewater scrubs with massage at the atmospheric Mrembo Spa. You will also go on a high quality spice tour to see the origins of cloves, cardamom and cinnamon, with local ethical tour operator Eco & Culture Tours, including a delicious Swahili lunch in a local house.

How to enter: To be in with a chance of winning this amazing prize, you must:

1. On Twitter, follow @mambomagazine, and post the thoughts conjured up by the idea of coffee and cloves – with the hashtag #zanzibar and @mambomagazine e.g. Dark, earthy, pungent, intoxicating, heady brew with roadside harvests of green and red heaven #zanzibar @mambomagazine

The best, most evocative entry will win. All of the competition sponsors have been selected by Mambo as either ethical local businesses or strong local trainers and employers. 

T&Cs: The closing date for the competition is 30 June 2012. Flights are not included in the prize - winners are responsible for their own transport to the island of Unguja. The prize must be taken by 10 December 2012, subject to availability and peak periods. Entrants must not be employed by or related to employees of Mambo Publishing Company Ltd. Winners will undertake to write a 600-800 word blog post about their coffee and clove experience for publication on www.mambomagazine.com. Any users found to be creating multiple Twitter accounts to enter the competition will be disqualified. Multiple Twitter entries from one user in a single day are not allowed under competition rules.
