Spice tour
The spice tour is the classic experience for visitors to Unguja island, the more developed island of the Zanzibar archipelago. When you go on a spice tour, you typically see where all the island's legendary aromatic spices originate, on a spice farm in the lush Kidambani area of the island. Your guide will tell you all about the different medicinal and culinary uses of the many spices and fruits grown on the farm, and you usually get to taste some tropical fruit and have a drink of spiced tea. You can also shop for spices to take home.
Nipun is a travel photographer, biker and writer, based in India but currently roaming around Zanzibar. Having majored in physics and photography from Pune University, India, Nipun has been travelling ever since.
