Mikindani

From here Livingstone set out on his final journey in 1866. Mikindani did along with the other towns on the Swahili Coast, centuries ago attract explorers, missionaries and slave traders in plenty. Today foreigners come less, and in terms of infrastructure this area is unfortunately still treated like a dead end zone.
