Zanzibar life
Photographer Gemma Pitcher lived on Zanzibar for a number of years and in that time got many shots of Zanzibaris going about their normal lives - from weddings and football games to the daily routine.

Gemma is a British writer, photographer and traveller, based in Australia, who used to live in Zanzibar and who has authored books such as Swahili Style. She recently completed a round-the-world trip, stopping off in Zanzibar, via Colombia, Haiti, Cairo and Istanbul.
