Contributors

Mambo is always on the lookout for interesting people to work with, especially Zanzibaris.

We will consider paying for written contributions, but please read our submission guidelines before pitching an article to editorial [at] mambomagazine [dot] com. We are also seeking interesting bloggers with something to say or an interesting specialism - you needn't be a professional writer, but need a strong voice and passion about your subject.

Also let us know if you are a freelance Kiswahili-English translator or editor.

Interns

Mambo is also keen to encourage interns who wish to gain work experience. We offer a rolling internship programme that can be tailored to individual applicants of high enough quality.

We would love you to apply if you are interested in writing, photography, multimedia, Swahili language and culture and/or oral history. Applicants can be from Zanzibar or from abroad. Mambo will pay food and transport costs for successful local applicants.

Please contact editorial [at] mambomagazine [dot] com for more information or to apply.
